Well today was a pretty exciting day, finally got the car moving under its own power for once.  I wish I didn't live on a hill or else I would've taken it around the block.  Still need a few adjustments but it felt very good.   I'm super stoked to get to this point  . Last year I bought a small propane heater at Lowes for $100 (on sale at the time).  It's output is 15,000 to 60,000 BTU.  I live up north in Ontario so without heating you really can't work in the garage from late November until around March.  The propane heater can fully heat my two car garage in about 5 minutes.  After about 10 minutes you'll be sweating if you don't turn it off.  A tank of propane (standard BBQ tank) lasts 2-3 weeks and only costs about $10 to fill at Costco.  If you get one, just make sure it's rated for indoors or confined spaces.  Best purchase I've made.

Thanks Nick, the truck is for me.  I've been wanting to do a little project like this for a while.

The cold sucks, I don't know how some of you cope with it.  Some friends have been installing heaters and such to keep the garages warm, I'm glad I don't have that problem here.

Nice, cool little truck, is that for yourself or a customer?  I've been neglecting mine because I'm lazy, lol.  I need to move south, this cold weather really kills my motivation.

I'm also doing prep work on my body panels for the final mounting soon.  I painted the backs of them to help protect them from water.  I'll be adding a ruberized undercoating before final install.

Sorry for the lack of updates guys but I got sidetracked working on another car project, as if this one wasn't enough jajaja.  Well the other one is done and it was time to jump back onto the lambo.  I got the engine back into the chassis and most of the systems hooked up.  Things left to do are getting the power steering and A/C hoses made up, bleed the brakes and fill with coolant.   Want to get all this done before Christmas.

I'm super excited about this, I was finally at the point that I could cut out the windshield area of my roof.  I'm happy to say that the windshield I bought from Charley fit perfect,  thank you very much Charley for making these available to us buddy 

What a difference the windshield makes in the look of the car, it's incredible how much it changed.

Looks great, I felt the same way when I was test fitting my windshield and it was just a fiberglass body sitting on the garage floor, lol.

Well you have to be able to sit back and enjoy the work you did.

It is O.K. not to be able to stop staring at it. Each time I think it is a good days work I open a beer and wind up staring at it for another couple of hours. Then I think, crap, if I was going to spend another couple of hours in the shop it could have been productive work. This has been going on for 30+ years.
