Anything over 400HP is pretty much wasted on the street.  You just cannot get the power to the ground in most cars.

Length is about 31" from pulley face to bell housing face at rear of block. 28" tall from lower pan to top of valve cover.
Hope this helps.

Let's start with how much power are you going to use ? 400, 700 or 1000hp as that is a very power engine.

Then you can decide which transmission can handle the power

you might want to measure the length of the 2jz motor, having mid engine vehicles will limit somewhat what you use as a choice in motors. i know its a tight fit with the bmw v12 but the motor you ant is quit abit longer. Its a great motor that can easily do well over 500hp with only a turbo and minor supporting mods

How much do you want to spend?  The tiptronic or automatic transmissions won't take that much HP so you will probably end up with a manual.  Porsche G50, Mendeola, or the Grazianio from the Gallardo or Audi R8 will be your most likely choices.

Can you gave me advice about transmission? Which transmission is usually used and is better? 4-5-6 Gear Tiptronic/Automat/Manual and from which models.
