thanks for the pics, they are motivation!!!!

I use the pictures from time to time myself.  For me focusing on one little piece of the car and completing that section, gives me some boost.

Being on day 9 out of 17 days of vacation, starting to get a little restless and wanting to work on the REDO!

Second time applying did a better job  and focused on one side.  ::thumbup

Added Dura Glass to the top side of the engine bonnet, to get it flush with the body, and also fixed the gap.

Ground down through the reverse side,  through the two layers of the bonnet to the dura glass,   and into the dura glass to get 1/8 of an inch or so thickness.

Then reinforced with CSM

Major milestone of the REDO, Actually drove the car in and out of the shop  ::toothy

Cleaned up the shop, and will cut the passenger door skin off, so I can start that project over the winter months.

Made some brackets to mount the bat wings to the body.

Got the actuators installed and the bat wings go up and down with the engine bonnet closed.  The actuators hold the bat wings nice and firm in up or down position.  Still need to wire up with relays.

Had to cut the fiberglass on the body and fiber glassed from below to remove the gap form OEM sized bat wing to G28 Body.  Ill do the drivers side next and a bunch of body work to to get the bonnet, bat wings and body gaps correct

Made a plug and then a mold for the rear spoiler and started on the recessed area on the rear trunk.

Over all pretty happy with the part

Continued on the rear hatch.  Made some adjustments to the hinge mounting

Ground at least 1/4 of rage bondo that the PO applied and got the hatch to line up with the body on both sides

I've been following your build for some time and I'm just wondering, you ever wish you'd just started from scratch?  I'd bet you'd be done by now!

thanks for following the build! Im enjoying the build and having a great time working through the issues.
