Or do you a car where it is definitely working where they used parts from another vehicle?

 I read in a forum a Nissan maximus regulator may work but cannot find date of production for the vehicle or if this is true.

Does anyone know. Ideally I do not want to but cutting them. I know there are some that work well without cutting.
