That's crazy! I'm on the fence with either painting mine orange or white again. (I love white cars with black wheels) What was the purpose of going with the black primer again instead of the traditional grey? So you could see any imperfections better? Is this a 2 stage or 3 stage paint job?

OH....and by the way......Go ORANGE.  Lambo's orange is amazing!  The pearls in it are outstanding!
Keep dreamin if you want to, I'm building mine!  And I'm almost done!

The black primer was a high build surfacer at 5 to 7 mils/coat.  I could have it mixed any color I wanted....I chose the black to also get away from that dang gray I've been seeing for so long!  Was refreshing and motivating.   Yes indeed, the black also helped to show imperfections.   Plus it turned a pale gray when sanded so also made for an excellent guide coat while sanding.  This is a pearl green with Gold and lime pearls in the clear.  Sweet flip in the sunlight.

Working late in the shop tonight getting the body ready for some black.   Again....I'll keep posting sneak peaks till its ready.   Soon guys!   Thanks for all the compliments!

Mitch
