Those are neat cars too but not the same company as the one I linked to. Where did you get your front and rear track numbers for the LP640? That is very interesting and useful information. Chromoly is what the OEM frame is made of but probably not a realistic option for me because it is complicated to weld - it needs pre and post weld thermal treatment to keep the welds from cracking.

Wheel base: SLC =104"    LP640 =105"
Front track:  SLC =72"     LP640 =64"
Rear track:   SLC =82"     LP640 =66"
I think that GEARS TV show did an SLC.  Too much erector set and bolts to suit me.  Seen a couple at Carlisle.  Sure would be fun to drive on a road course though.  Don't know how well it would hold up to normal driving.  How about a tube chassis using Chrome Moly if you want a weight savings?  Lots of variations left only to the imagination.  Pic#1 =SLC  Pic#2 =Factory 5

I'm not interested in the kit although I don't think it looks bad. I'm only interested in the possibility of using the chassis for a Murcielago replica.

Chassis looks excellent! The kit looks absolutely terrible.

SLC kits are by far more amazing.

that car screams kit, and looks cheap, theirs much better ways to spend 20k.

I have a lot of questions but this looks like it may be an ideal chassis option. Looks like it is the right wheelbase and width for most Lambo replicas. At only 300 pounds I wonder if it has the strength and rigidity? I wonder if they will sell it separate from their complete car kit? Maybe they would sell just the chassis as a kit that could be put together by the customer to save cost? If so, price of just the chassis kit? I'd like to see more images of the chassis. I'll have to shoot them an e-mail.
