Hey all;
I am helping a fellow replica enthusiast look for and buy a finished Countach 5000s or 25th replica. He is looking for a completed car if at all possible and if it is still a project, very little to do to finish it off. No full or large projects please.
His criteria are:
(Tried to indent but can't seem to get that working..... A bit hard to read)
- Full length wheelbase
- A Fiero frame is acceptable
- If well done and you have build pics of the stretch etc. to make sure it is well done and safe
- Custom frame is also good
- In my mind preferred as it allows for longitudinal engine and trans etc.
- He is good with either though
- V8 swap and standard trans if possible
- Other engines are acceptable as long as they are well done as with the frame above
- This can always be swapped out afterward but prefer to not have to do that
- Curved windscreen
- No wide pillars on the outside edges of the windscreen as well
- Curved side windows with functioning lower window if possible
- We understand that this is a rare option in most replicas
- Glass would be even better but that is even more rare than the curved side windows....
- Countach interior
- This is a preference as some Fiero kits still have the Fiero interior but if not, proper interiors are available
- Replica or oem rims if at all possible
- Any suspension upgrades are a bonus
