LT1 with aluminum heads is a nice choice and can put down 300hp easily out of the box.  I love mine in my Formula but it's a love/hate relationship. 13 second quarter mile times on the cheap but definitely tough on distributers.

Curse you Optispark....

Looks very nice and it will be awesome once you finish it, congrats man.  The wheels are actually from the early Murcielagos.

Did this car com from up north east?  Looks like a build by a gentleman named noz. This build was started a long time ago and never completed because the owner bought a wrecked oem roadster and rebuilt that.

Picked up a new project

Found (what I hope) a great deal on a Diablo replica project  Car is mostly done but needs a complete interior and lots of little things.  Heres a list of the good things.
Custom welded chassis. No Fiero parts
Body is already painted.
Corvette LT1 engine that starts right up and runs
Audi 5 speed trans
Air compressor and air ride suspension
Everything is hinged correctly.
Doors work very well.
Real? Diablo wheels. (that's what I was told)

Heres the bad.
Car has been sitting quite a while so needs a good cleaning.
Paint is real nice but has some scratches and chips. Not sure if it can be matched or if I need to repaint.
Wing is cracked in a couple of spots.
Needs a complete interior.

I have the complete interior fiberglass set, gauges, real Lamborghini HVAC control, real Lamborghini seats,
Vintage air HVAC unit.  The car up to this point has been very well built.  I hope to continue that quest and have a beautiful diablo when I am done.
Mike
