"Duh use the search button!" Just kidding. Really though, start looking at people's build threads. Start from post #1 and move forward. This will at least give you a good feeling for what it takes to build a replica.

The cost of your build will greatly be effected by your skills. Can you build the parts needed or will you be purchasing every single piece?

Not gonna happen for $50,000

First of all no one makes a 700 complete kit at this point . Carlos is closest but has not been able to export out of Mexico . His kit is $14500 plus lights

A power train you suggest would cost $20k or more with the needed transmission electronics and adapters

A complete chassis will cost another $15-30k with big brakes etc

Bodywork installation of kit body and paint ? Another $20k or more

Interior $5k minimum for panels and upholstery .

Then stereo and other electronic like power windows seats etc add another $5k

Wheels and tires another $3-5k

You're at $85000 and that's still not counting numerous parts

Hi. I'm brand new to the replica community. I have a million questions, of course. I really want to build an accurate, fast, and functional replica LP700-4. I want it to be one of the most accurate replicas out there. I would like to spend up to about $50,000 or so. My idea is to use a LS7 engine, but when it comes to transmission, chassis, electrical/dash, working flappy paddles... I'm lost. (Basically, I know nothing about replicas.) Shoot me some helpful tips? Thanks!
