Correct the Fuel Gauge readings
« Reply #1 on: March 26, 2021, 03:09:18 PM »
I purchased an aluminum 15 gallon fuel tank on Ebay.  It was a quality built unit and fit the space in my chassis that I had.  It came with a 0-90 ohm sender unit installed.  My VDO fuel gauge required a 10-180 ohm sender.  So I replaced the sender with a VDO 10-180 ohm adjustable unit so solve my problem.  Instructions can be found at:
https://www.vdo-gauges.com/media/instructions/0%20515%20010%20169%20--%20Fuel%20Level%20Sender.pdf
The instructions tell you how to adjust the sender for tanks that are from 6" to 23" deep.
