Have you guys seen this one?  (Warning -- Foul language at the beginning of this video)
Lamborghini Murcielago crashing into palm tree In Beverly Hills

My favorite part of this is when the driver say's "There was a car.. I had to get out of their way" when on the video you clearly don't see anything but the Lambo and the idiot driving it.  Nothing like putting the blame for your stupidity on someone else.  I've heard that this guy was ran off of the Lamborghini forums as the other owners gave him a hard time over this.

Don't think anyone would do that for youtube revenue either
Anyone can make money off youtube but not enough to fix that car, well unless you are "fred" or one of the other famous youtube kids.
and you should be making better money to begin with if you had a car like that...

Im going to go off on a limb and say that this is 100% real. Who's to say that it wasn't some kid driving, that has never driven that kind of power. I know with all of the cell phones around here its easy to record a cool Lambo in just a few seconds if you catch a glimpse of one. Also, hard to reproduce the sound that car is putting out, replica is out of the question. To get that car perfect in between those two cars he is lucky he didnt hit one of them head on! I bet his dad is real proud as is the insurance company after seeing this video :P

that article does not say it is a setup.  it is asking a question.  ask someone that has a completed car  how many times they have had someone tape them.  I used to own a testarossa and would see people video taping me, I even had a woman crash into the car in front of her because she was paying more attention to my car waiting in traffic than the traffic in front of her

That would explain it then.  :)

What's messed up about this is that it's gained hits when advertised as real and it'll probably now generate even more hits as advertised as a fake.

theres a write-up about it on Yahoo, I saw it yesterday. It is a replica Gallardo, and its pretty obvious thats its staged. Why were the people in the car running the video camera of the car? Why were the cars that were hit stopped so far back behind the other cars at the light (at least 4 car spaces, equally as well)? Why was there so much space between the cars that were hit?
It was later reported that the crash was staged for advertising revenue on YouTube.

Mike, why do you think it's staged?  I looked at it again and it appears to be the same car that slides in there and hits the other two cars and when they come back around, you can see damage on the nose of the car that wasn't there before.  There is also a lot of other cars around which would mean this was a pretty elaborate set up.  Do you think they used a real Lambo and intentionally wrecked it just for the footage?

Thanks,

Chris
