A few things with that and a few other casting products, first, it never seems to harden like other cast materials, also if you are adding any pigments, they can wreak havoc on the set up...
also it can take several days to harden and depending on the atmospheric heat and humidity it will also affect the set up time.
another thing is age, if the product is older than a few months then its past its life or if it has been opened for some time it tends to be hygroscopic and will absorb ambient moisture.
these are things i have had to overcome with my experience in casting and mould making.
i have the same key set that you do and if i find time i will make a silicone mould of it and see what can be used to make the key assembly, i have a product in mind that will be very similar to the oem material.

InstaMold for the Mold and Easy Cast for the actual part. Easy cast is suppose to harden like hard plastic, but its not.

Man this key just don't want to mold right, I'm going have to try a different route. I tried with the plastic cast that is suppose to harden, but its turning out like a gummy bear. Any suggestions.

it is a 01-05 sebring column I have no idea what the key code is, I cannot find the key code on the key

I could do the Sebring If you knew the make/model/year and key code, of course it would come to you as a blank key and you have it cut from your key. but let me do a trial run first.

You wouldn't have to send me a key, Just the make and model of car and key code, I would then get a blank key of the car depicted and use the blank key for the mold and you have the key cut off your key.

I think it may work but we'd all have to send you keys. I wonder what a complete key package from the dealer would be?
