How to do a Matte Chrome Wrap

Yeah, I really love that matte chrome look! They go great together like peanut butter and chocolate.

I have seen a few more of these wraps now and they aren't all on Lamborghinis. They all seem to be aftermarket. Most of them seem to be done overseas (mostly Russia for some reason). Foiltech in Greece has done a couple with a single layer wrap they call Anodized Red Matt which may not be exactly the same thing but it is pretty close.

Maybe the big companies will produce a wrap like this by the time I am at that point in my build.

Some places are calling the wrap on the attached image "Red Aluminium".

Edit: Looks like Arlon makes Red Aluminum in it's Ultimate PremiumPlus Hi-Tech Specialty Wrap Film line: http://www.arlon.com/Utilities-Product-ProductListing?SelVal=156869&SelLevel=1 They say this is "brushed" but it doesn't look like it on the cars:

Yea maybe they make it specifically for lamborghini like sparco made the specially modified version "chrono" seat for the SV for example

Another option is to use a matte/satin clear film like this: http://www.luxury4play.com/lamborghini/55753-premier-satin-guard-murcielago.html over a colored chrome wrap. I'm sure it would work but it doesn't save any money. Strange that 3M, Avery or Hexis don't make a Matte Chrome. I guess if they did, it would no longer be unique as every Honda Civic on earth would be running with it.

Looks like it to me, doubt there are cheaper alternatives wrap is always expensive

I saw the recent news post about the red matte chrome Aventador wrap and I really liked it. I have only seen one other matte chrome wrap and it was also on an Aventador. Alas, it was in Purple/pink which would not be my color of choice.

Nobody seems to make a wrap material like this so does anyone know how it is done? In the last purple pic below, it looks like they may have a matte color layer over a chrome wrap. Any ideas?
