No parts are required to shorten the column, just collapse it the amount you need. The Chrysler Sebring column can also be used (my build was the first to use it). It needs to be collapsed as well, much the same process as the Fiero column. From the Sebring, you need to get the column that does NOT have the hazzard flasher button on top. I'm not sure of the year, you just have to check them out.

back in days on my 25th I just colapsed the column by 2". they have 2' travel incase of front end collision. I removed the column whack it to the floor and bingo .drove the car for 7 years nothing wrong with steering or other.

I don't know if WhoDeanie is still doing these, but I bought mine from him modified and he sourced the column locally to him so I was only paying shipping one way.  I don't think it cost more than $300 total.

What parts are needed for shortening the Fiero steering column? I hear the steering mechanism off of a Chrysler Sebring is compatible. Well, what year Sebring and how many inches does it get shortened in the end? Thanks
