Short strand fiberglass reinforced filler is much easier, and more accurate to apply. I would only use tiger hair to fill large holes. Bondo/Glass reinforced filler is water proof and works well.

it is interesting and i tend to use it a lot, but you need serious filters and latex... micro fibers impale anything and everything if you brush over it.... unless you are familiar with CF i would tend to caution away from it, not that regular FG doesnt have any issues, CF has "Extra" issues...  ::K

Kitty hair is good stuff. Tiger hair must be better. Has anyone seen carbon fibre filler. This stuff looks interesting.

Tiger Hair is good stuff. Basically the same as kitty hair just slightly longer strands of glass. It's a little stronger but as with any body filler is should not be over used. I had voids on my kit that I first filled with milled fiberglass and resin( more structural). The way I look at every square inch of the car body is if that area were to flex or take an impact like a rock chip will the area hold up to normal road conditions. Just make sure after all the time, money, and paint is on it- your worst fear would be for something you caked filler on to fall off.

Thinking about using this for some of my low spots and voids. Just wondering if anyone had any experience with it?

Thanks
Mike
