in Canada you can build and register as home build, or as kit with donar car, must pass safety test by certify mechanic, , no smog test need it. insurance by Hagerty average 600$ depends on value of appraisal
now back to his build pictures

Thanks guys
In New Zealand we have a good system in that when you decide to build a car you draw a plan and have it tabled at low volume board where they see that you have the right zones and safety. Then once passed you can start the build. During the build you have it checked for problems.
The car clubs around NZ have had their say about car builds which the government has taken on board and has made standards for the build members to follow. Once finished the car goes through some safety check and if passed you receive a number for registration.

First i would like to say very nice work! so how will you be able to register your car? Do you already have a vin # assigned? I see many people go thru huge lengths of work and spend thousands of dollars building their dream car only to realize that they can't get registration in their state. This is why so many of us use a diner car such as a Fiero with its original Vin #.
