I'm home now after 5 days in Hospital. Monday (5/3/21) I fell about 10 feet from roof, landed on the deck. My head and left side broke the fall. I remember thinking this isn't going to end well. I regained consciousness when EMS arrived two brain bleeds, bruised kidney, broken rib and fractured vertebra. Home now but very sore. Was using a walker at first but gradually weaning myself off of it but exhaust very easy. Brain bleed stopped and headaches should decrease over next few months. I have figured out that a 74 year old does not bounce well off a composite deck. I will be back building, probably a little later than the original plan, but will get there. Appreciate the thoughts and prayers.
