A friend of mine had one of those in his Honda and it actually sounded better than the video you posted. He took the bracket off, drilled a hole on the bottom of his pipe further back and installed them that way. He did this because someone stole them off his car the first time. In the end it looked much better because you couldn't see the bracket or the whistle itself.

I don't have much room for exhaust mods and I'm just running a cat after the turbo. It's a muscle car sound that would fool no one. I don't mind it yet, but I would be interested in what you've done. More details please!

So I worked had to get the correct exotic sound. Spend lots of moo-la.... I even bought the heavy Diablo muffler then I was told it is better to try the Murci muffler, So I bought one and ya they are similar. But I finally got that exotic high pitch sound that I was soooo craving.
You all are going to $hit your pants the process was really simple. Any way check out my exotic ride and the sound. If you sit through the entire vid you will understand how I did it but you have to sit through all the hub-bub all the way to the end, also if you do indeed sit through the vid call me. I can guide you how I did the conversion and how simple the process really is and I grantee you can replicate it and make millions even converting little hondas. I read over on Pennock's that a guy used the exhaust manifolds from a 200? Camaro with 3.8 in it and turned them around on his 3.8 in a Fiero. Apparently, the manifolds turned around make it sound more like a 2.8 Fiero rather than the burping sound of the 3.8 with stock manifolds. The length of the exhaust runners changes the sound compared to stock 3.8 FWD manifolds.

You could then set up the rest of the exhaust like Lambobuilder showed over on MM and get a pretty nice sound from the 3.8. Certainly not the European 180* sound we all strive for but much better than the oem sound.

If you are using the Fiero transaxle setup though, the front exhaust manifold comes down right where an A/C pump would go. One down side.

If you are using the longitudinal setup, you could also build in a set of headers that change up the tune/tone. In the end though, the only way to get a 180* sound is to set up the exhaust so it scavenges 180* apart the same as those engines.
