Very educational Chris.

I would buy a set for $500 which is what we agreed to but I guess I won't hold my breath on getting his.
If I don't have time to do it right, when will I have time to do it over?

In general, do some research on who your buying from to reduce your chance of getting burnt. Or ask MichaelG on here about those glass lenses he's offering on MM. Same guy...
How you figure?

LamboJayso told you he wanted $1K to make glass lenses? Not sure what is going on. He offered me his OEM lenses but never completed the transaction.

He sold me his glass lenses for around $500 since he said he was going to pull molds and make plastic lenses from them.  Three months went by and I received my payment back via PayPal because he said he broke one while making the molds.  I offered to buy the one that wasn't broke for half the price of the pair and he told me no  ::)

I could never prove it but I'm sure he sold them to someone else who offered him more after the deal with me had been made.  I bought a set of plastic lenses from FGP in Poland since they are the only source that I'm aware of right now that is offering them and will actually deliver on what they promise.  They should arrive in about a month with some other parts I ordered and I'll share some pictures once they get here.

::help We need glass lenses!

At last count there was at least five members looking for them.  If priced right, I'm sure others would want to buy back-up sets while they were available.

Can someone with an OEM set of lenses please take this project on and find a glass supplier that can make quality copies?  I know there is a demand for these amongst the original Murci owners also.  Any glass damage on a OEM headlight means a complete headlight assembly replacement.

Chris

This looked promising but apparently the guy doesn't have the molds anymore.  He told me that he'd make a set for 1k since he would need materials to make the molds but sounded kind of sketchy to me.  Maybe worth pursuing though?

Usually whoever can answer the question generally does especially if the original poster hasn't replied in some time, didn't think it was childish.
I've sent you pm's in the past trying to answer questions and you never reply.

I hesitate to post this because I don't want to get attacked. It is too bad so many of us are on edge here lately. I've noticed an increasing number of people snapping at each other and petty arguments popping up. I was involved in one myself just the other day. Let's all relax! This is supposed to be fun isn't it? We are all working toward a common goal. Live and let live. ::beers

Not exactly clearly phrased so I was checking.
Being rude when i did not even ask you is rather childish .

Bigpines: Look at the photo. It is the second copy of the original. Price is 240 USD for buckets. And price molds is on your bid. Offer me.

No Bull: No. On this moment have not. But Jamack writes here on the forum, it will produce?
