Just a question, but why didn't you use the 670 style throttlebodies instead of the older Murcielago ones? I know you had an OEM TB you molded yours from, but the actual SV style are available on Ebay for about $45 each. I'm making an updated engine cover myself, and am using the real throttle bodies on it. I like my old cover, but noticed after 8 years of engine heat the plastic cast TB's are starting to crack in different places, and the paint is chipping off as well. Using real TB's should eliminate that problem, plus there is no chance that it could ever look like a fake cover with the real TB's. Just a question
I guess I was unaware of the real throttle bodies being available so cheap, I've got 3 Murci ones I've had for awhile and since I couldn't find another at a price I was willing to pay I just made one! Same for the plenum, no way was I gonna buy another, plus I can hang a set on my wall now!
as far as the look I'm not sure anyone, unless they know the exact differences between a 670 and 640, will have a clue they should be any different.
