Reminds me of the 4th gen camaros. Those engines were crammed half way under the dash. Like this one :)

How will you ever do simple maintainance on that engine though? Three quarters of it is hidden under the dash. I looks impossible to change the spark plugs on it.

not my cup of tea,I just can't see how could it look low on front with the engine at front, but when is done and compared to other reps ,he may feel embarrassed. good luck with build. side picture would be nice, to look at.

Tallon, couldn't have said it any better. Drama belongs on the other forum not here. Please, if you don't have anything nice or helpful to say about a build, skip over and go to another build... Everyone has there own idea of how exact a "REPLICA" can be. Just because the engine may be in the front doesnt mean when the hood is closed anybody can tell the difference. Honestly I'm keeping up with this build because it is something new and interesting to me.

I wouldn't be too happy with this kit either if it were mine the same reason I wouldn't be happy with any other car that I'm not building. but it isn't mine, if the builder is happy with it that is all that matters and it could still look like a very nice car in the end, just not a very accurate replica. Still, why put down someone Else's project? This forum is here to do the exact opposite whether we'd be happy if it was our car or not. The ONLY thing that belongs in madmechanics is this kind of drama. Yes let's make fun of someone for spelling errors on top of their choice in chassis.

Not for nothing, I don't like it because of what it is, but the enginuity is there.

If you have enough creativity or money, almost anything is possible.

Personally, this is a no go for me. But good luck to the builder!

You have got to be kidding.
What in the world is a real replica??
I welcome anything John has to show us.

WHY?!?!?!   I don't mean to be a pr!(k here but if you want to talk about front engine lamborghini replicas then 'madmech' is the place. I am going out on a tree limb here but I feel most of the people on this site are building real replicas and not ones with a back seat.
PLEASE CAN EVERYONE STOP THE SEBRING DONOR TALK?! This only makes the kitcar world look worse.
One other thing....when did Sebring start to use two "i's" in the spelling?

Did you cut the front springs?  How will you account for the extra 1.5 inch, move the wheel well opening on the body or just leave it?  Is it noticeable?  How bout pics from the direct side view?  Thx and keep it up!
