These are the side bumper pieces that I got from Marek. Super nice quality and fitment!
they helped me get the bumper elevation set correctly.

Nice work on that oil cooler, will you be making it functional?

Thanks Pedro,
Yes, I will be using a thermostatic sandwich plate kit from Racer-X Fabrication
specifically made for the MR2 3sgte turbo engine

I have also been working on the rear 670 parts. I probably have way too much time into them, but my time is free so....
I purchased the 670 exhaust cover from Marek along with the upper bumper side pieces. This gave me a good starting point with OEM
Dimensions. From there I have been cutting, glassing and adjusting the 670 rear bumper and wing that I got from Inpsire Composites years ago.
I am almost done with the parts now, and excited to body work them. Some of the parts were so heavily modified to fit with the OEM body that they will be used as bucks to pull molds, then parts created from them.

The 670 exhaust cover from Marek is a copy of an FGP cover. It does not come with the mounting points for the 670 wings struts so I had to make small sheet metal molds and glass in the OEM style mounting points. Then I molded the wing struts to match the new flange.

Installation was pretty easy, I made some small mounting brackets and bonded them in with
glass filler. Then reinforced it with a layer or two of fiberglass.

Another project I got done was the mounting of the oil coiler and scoop in the rocker.
I got the oil cooler from ebay. And I got the small fiberglass scoop trim piece from Marek (camaro80).
He always delivers a very nice quality part ::thumbup Great guy to deal with.

This is pretty much where I am at to date with my chassis.
Not much left of the mr2 any more.

While I was away I have gone through multiple renditions of chassis design, but I am narrowing in on a finished product. I think hahaha
I also got my radiators mounted in the factory location, But they will be used for heat exchangers on my water to air intercooler. I used Honda civic radiators along with Porsche Boxster Fans.

Hello all!
It has been a long time since I had posted on here. Life got really busy the last few years, but I still managed to make some progress on my car.
I have been collecting a lot of parts and working to get my body mostly mounted. After all this time I am still chipping away at building the 670 rear bumper as well as converting my engine hatch to 670. I have a lot of catching up to do with my build thread, but I am going to give it a go again.
Unfortunately I lost a bunch of pictures on a phone that broke so there is a small gap in my progress. Never the less, here we go.......

Opening the garage door after the long cold winter ::thumbup
