There are several different strand types of cable for different purposes and they require different sheaths. Check out azusaengineering.com , talk to Tony there. They also have the end fittings. If you really want it slick and trick, use their 3/16 nylon hydraulic line as the sheath and mount it with brass compression fittings. The cable with the barrel ends, I do not know the part number right away, is a $5 solution to Lokar's $100 emergency brake cables.
