I don't need a lockset but need to copy vehicle key, so can you do it for me at a decent cost or recommend an expert who can do it?

Try this from a different direction. No matter what car make the cylinder is, it most likely came from the biggest automotive latch and lock supplier, southco.com. Go to their website and select the exact length of cylinder you need. Unless you buy them a thousand at a time, you will need to purchase it through Austinhardware.com.

What up? AB.  Are you switching from a Diablo to a Murcie? or do you have both?  I got a set from MMBrazil for a Diablo and they were 1/8" short.  I bought some Fiat cylinders off of Ebay and the same result.  Maybe someone on here can post the correct Fiat number so that they fit properly.

Murcie door lock cylinder and VW Passat ($11.03 @ Ebay):

You know me always looking to do something stupi..... I mean different
I looked at the passat locks, unless you take the cylinder out, it wont fit.... I guess I am just having a hard time imagining the installation if it

I am using lock cylinders for a Fiat/Lancia P/N 4465642.  They are a little short, but for the difference in price I'm just going to live with the slight recess.  Nobody but you and I will know. ;)

For diablo builders, I went on and got mine for diablo from lambostuff, to evade all the guess work, I'm using oem push buttons as well, just my .02

I wasnt looking for installing the latches, I was talking about the actual lock cylinder.  I have the handles from pedro, but havent found the right cylinders to fit them

I think Pedro told me he used the Passat locks from his donor car.

ON the G28 if you use the exterior mount of the latch you will have to  REDO the inner door to make it work.

If you dont have a strong frame supporting the latch here is what happens

If you are using the Mercedes latches, this is how I installed them in the Diablo
