Couldn't have said it better myself! Glad to be apart of a forum that fosters an environment of comradeship and learning!
I have a dream, that one day we will not be judged by the supplier of our kits but by the content of the build!

Ok.. this has been a brewing for a while and I suppose that tonight is as good a night as any to get it out there.  I've received more reported posts over the last 30 days than I've received over the 8 months combined.

I want to make it clear that this site is intended to share build ideas and opinions but there is etiquette online just as there is in real life.  It really ticks me off to see someone criticize someone elses work yet never offer a practical suggestion to help that person they are knocking on.  This is typically the result of a very insecure and shallow someone trying to make themselves look bigger by making someone else look smaller and they end up making themselves look like an idiot in the process.

When you list something for sale, include a price in the description.  If no one contacts you, then they don't want or need what you are offering or your asking price is too high.  If you want to tell someone that the price is too high to help them or negotiate a lower price to purchase the item, PM them offline and don't wage a personal or private attack against the person in a thread.

Only list things for sale that you actually own or make it very clear that this is something you can make on order or you are inquiring about member interest if you offered it for sale.  Every deal made on this site is between the buyers and sellers and I would encourage everyone to learn to use the feedback system I put in place and rate those you trade with.

Refrain from the use of bad language and offensive images on this site.  Anyone that knows me will tell you that I swear more than a drunk sailor on shore leave however when I'm around people that I know this offends, I try very hard to not cuss as a simple matter of respect.  There are members on here that don't appreciate the foul language and I've been contacted by them about some of the posts containing offensive content.  We are all adults and adults respect one another enough to get their points across without offending everyone else.

I don't know if it's because everyone is starting to feel more comfortable around one another or everyone has cabin fever, but I really want the nonsense to stop and we get the site back to the basics.

I don't want to resort to banning members but I'm not going to sit back and watch members leave the site because a few guys want to beat on their chests and show off.  I provide this site as a service to you... it costs me time and money that I don't ask anything for in return other than respect for me and the other members here and the constructive sharing of your ideas that improves this hobby.
