Currently the power for turn signals is routed through the column to the left/right indicators. Looking at a PICO micro controller that would sense input power from flasher and then trigger relays as you suggested which would have direct power for the rear. Will let you know what I come up with

Without seeing a circuit schematic, I would expect to find the turn switch wires coming off the column switch and tap into them directly. Use them to drive a couple relays directly (might be 12v or ground, but either can be used). One relay for left rear, the other for right rear. The relay outputs could then drive your sequential circuits. Your front turn signals should then be unaffected.

Turn signal wiring

Have a GM steering column. Power to the turn signals Front Left and Right and Rear Left and Right is powered by the flasher to give the appropriate pulse for the blinkers. I need rear left and right to have a solid power as the rear units have a sequential module that gives the tail lights the sequence of the Lambo turn signals. Since the circuitry for those turn signals is integrated into the column, how do I convert the pulse signal from the flasher to a constant 12V to the sequence module for just the left and right rear lights?
