I bought this Mr2 last week so i put the project Lambo away for a week and am going to change the turbo on this as im not mechanicaly minded so wish me luck

Ok it took me 3 days to get the cat out what a nightmare a big hands up to Tristian for the extra help on helping me remove the cat, all 5 bolts snapped :-(

Ok painted the bulk head heat shield white

Car all jacked up

Heat shields all heat treated and exhaust manifold

Got the turbo section all out today and here is the culprit the ceramic turbo in pieces

Heat shield second coat

The new turbo all painted up

Exhaust manifold all on

Ready to go in this is heavy

After an hour screwing around the section went into place

The broken bolts on the cat

There coming out with bit of grit and grind

The cat all put back together

Getting there bolt by bolt

Flexi pipe back on

Car back on the ground

This broke made of plastic  :( thanks to Smurfster for the spare one

Just the pipe work left to do

This is spray paint primer? Make sure it's compatible with the paint you will shoot. I had a bad incident with it a while back.
Did you get the cool wrinkle effect?

Put the bonnet back on to stop any dust getting on the black paint job

A few pin holes to fill

A bit of sanding on the passenger side

Pin holes all rubbed down

Second coat of primer

Ok guys i got the windscreen for very cheap out of a scrap yard as the Lambo OEM window cost too much.

There is about 2-3 weeks work getting the window to fit but it can fit.

I sent my windscreen to my local glass cutter he cut 20mm off each side free hand (This guy has skill) and the window is perfect.

As my kit isint an extreme i was told a copy of extreme so the glass was an issue so this has worked for me alot of hours filling and sanding the only part you will have to re-make is a front A pillars whicj is straight forward to do.

Hope this help am here to help so ask as much questions as possible.

@ Pedro - its from a 2001 Nissan Maxima  :)

All right, so if you have an Extreme body that accepts the original windshield what modifications did you have to make to either the body or the windshield to make it fit?

The reason I am interested is because I also have a kit that accepts the original windshield and as you know they are very expensive so  me and others are trying to find an alternative.  Any help with this will be much appreciated. Thanks my friend!
