lambocars makes LP670 bumpers.
If I don't have time to do it right, when will I have time to do it over?

I believe that Lambocars is talking about his own MR2 project and the fact it does not seal properly, and then associating his experience with putting those parts on an OEM car.

well, thats my interpretation of the broken english that seems to have been translated.
I could be wrong also...  either way, car looks fine to me, i could care less whose parts are on it as long as it is well fitted and works for who ever owns it.
:)

I agree with Digi

I like the way people will comment like they know what they are talking about. Lambocars does not have a clue what he is speaking. The original lip for the original seal is there, the trunk is completely water tight. I agree with putting an LP640 bumper on but I want a 670 bumper but have not found one yet. The actual repair was originally done in 08 and a 640 bumper was not available then.

I'm not discrediting anyone, you understand, for my long experience in construction I've only commented that these stamps will never be watertight, water inevitably enter, and portions copied oem solved the problem easily and flawless result would be, I think to do parties hand is much more expensive if you count the hours, it is hard work, and the result is not always identical to oem.

So our replicas will be a disaster too? lol

on his fenders he at least has a ledge all the way around for a seal, I've never seen a g28 with that not being cut out :S

There oem fiberglass reproductions without compromising the tightness of the vehicle
save a few dollars by the problems will be over.
so I can never watch could have a tight seal in the bonnet, will be a problem when it rains or just wash the car.
replica not mind a lot ...
an original car but I think it will be a disaster.
correct me if I'm wrong.
They have become an original car in a replica ...
this is not to say I do not have merit.
I showed them a replica made for my toyota mr2.
THINK you
the bumper in the picture is not finished riding.

So.....  whats the real story then?   why does an OEM car have "project-car" parts on it?   or whatever they are...or are not...

Just a guess but those replica parts totaled about $1,000-$1,500 and the original would have been well over $25,000. I can't say that I wouldn't have done the exact same thing if it was my car, prob would have went with a LP640 bumper but I think it turned out awesome! Not to mention this really opens up something new knowing that our replica parts will fit OEM cars. This is good to know if prices ever come down on the wrecked Murci's (like they have started to do already)

the fenders and bumpers are not original or 2004 or any year, I have these Original parts.
Please do not mislead people.
I'm realizing that there is much deception here.
