My wife is a chiropractor. Wish she would buy me a Snap-On tool box  :-[ All I get is a pain in the butt. Similar to an enlarged prostate.  :o

This is NO LIE.  My general practice doctor thought that my prostate was enlarged and sent me to a urologist for an exam.  In his examination room, he had a Craftsman tool box.  Needless to say, that was the only visit that I made to him.

I would use Pythagorean Theorem Calculator to calculate axle plunge. Here is an easy link. B is your suspension travel from A, 180 degrees ( level axle). http://www.algebra.com/calculators/geometry/pythagorean.mpl


My chiropractor says that my pythagorean has slipped but the operation isn't covered by Medicare. :-(

01 Lambiero, I got the feeling most of it applies to 930 CV, but I don't see other brands being constructed any different, will have to have a look at an old cv to see if they are constructed the same, or is the long and short that they mention only applicable to 930, as far as using the Diablo in the dunes hey why not the  tyres are wide enough not to sink in the sand lol.
Hmm maths was not one of my strong points at school 45 yrs ago, maybe it would just be easier to adjust the flux capacitor lol

This only applies to the 930 cv joints used on a sand rail/dune vehicle right?  A suspension that extends to the full travel upward and downward as in an ORV.  So if I only have a max 3" up travel and 3" down travel, I should not have any bind on my cv joints as limited by my struts.  I really don't plan on running the dunes with my Diablo.
