10-4 Eddie!, I already painted the bottom last night but I'll wait to add the bed liner after I paint the car.

I just couldn't wait and I had to put my rear suspension together,  here's the left side.

Hey auto, do the under  bottom after is painted, more or less you'll end up with over spray from painting
when I did Jim D 6.0 took two of us whole day wrap the bottom and suspention

Pedro I'm glad you said epoxy primer
Only way  to go I think ,besides powder coating.
I had my dome 8 years ago and the bottom floor ( under carnage ? Was just primer not a single rust coloration .
The bottom I'll use a bed liner . When car will be done . I hope I live that long lol

Yes powder coating wasn't an option for me even though I have a friend that does it.  His place is far away and getting a tow truck to take the frame there and back was going to cost more than the actual powder coat.  Then he said it would take two weeks but I know my people and that actually means one month  :LL:

I like your idea of doing the bed liner on the bottom, I'm going to go and get some material to do it  ::thumbup

Now just quit playing with all those Ferrari's and work on your car brother.

That looks outstanding Pedro! You do really nice work! Keep it up your almost there. ::beers

Thank you Mike! It does feel like I'm a lot closer now than before  ::toothy

So I got the second coat on the chassis and painted my suspension arms.

looks good, what did you use for coating?

Thanks Eddie, I used 2 part epoxy primer to seal the metal and single stage Acrylic urethane paint PPG DCC 9300.  I flattened it because I do not like it to be glossy.

Continuing doing work to the tune and it's almost finished.  Made some cardboard templates for the rear of the tunnel since it has an odd shape.  After this it was transferred to sheet metal and bent on the brake.  Got the sides welded into place but I didn't do the top because I want to put some paint and some seam sealer in there first.

Still doing the push to get the chassis to paint and I am getting closer.  I made the straps to hold the fuel tank in place, once I do the final install I will add some rubber to the bottom of the tank and to the straps.    I also started doing the structure for the center tunnel, I still have to get some more bracing in there but the general structure is there now.  After the rest of the bracing I will add a skin of sheet metal.

Got my rear window panel tacked into place, now I need to finish laying the rest of the sheet metal to seal the engine bay from the cab.

Forgot to post these pictures from over the weekend.  Got most of my panels welded in place for the trunk, it's looking more like a real car now in there  :P  I also cleaned up all of my suspension arms and put some primer on them to get them ready for paint sometime soon.
