The old exhaust didnt have a flex pipe in it so one was purchased.

It hung down too low and didn't line up with the opening in the back of the car. After making a few measurements,  the pipe was cut and welded back together.

Turned out pretty decent and lines up well.

Just need to mount the metal replica LP640 exhaust tip...after I REDO the finish and make a bracket to mount the tip  ::toothy

While waiting on my H3 bulb plugs the H1 ballast and relays were mounted

Wanted to clean up the wiring in the front trunk.  I used the same wire loom wrap that the HID system came with.

Before and after Pictures. you can see all the HID wiring laying there :LL:

Much better! ::toothy

With the signals working, Time to get the headlights up and running.

The morimoto system is pretty straight forward and worked right out of the box in a quick test using the Fiero wiring and Sebring steering column

My projector has a shutter and was wired to the high beam switch.

I'm using a 13 pin trailer plug to run all my wiring into the headlight enclosure. For some reason the HID light would not work using this plug so the two wires were ran through the headlight housing.  These holes will be sealed later.

It was very tedious and took some time to test each connection into and out of the Plug.  It will make it quicker to remove the headlight unit from the car.

Shout to Murci-Me for some guidance on the signal, test tube and side marker light wiring 8) ::salute

The fog light will be controlled from the dash switch to the left of the Steering.  As usual need one part to complete this.  ::toothy

Just came back from a visit down to OKC.  Just getting back to the REDO.

I have an issue with the signals. Running lights work great.  Test light lights, going into the flasher is super bright, but coming out it is rather dim regardless of the signal switch is in the on or off position.

There is power coming out of the signal switch for left and right, when turned on just no signal.  I think I have a ground issue or continuity issue.   ::scratch

I do believe I recognize those printed instructions.  ::tongue  If you don't have the Fiero Haynes manual I think you can download from here http://www.fieronews.net/fusion/downloads.php

Yes I have read a lot of your info from your website!  thank you!!

Got few more of the connectors identified from a post I put on pennocks.

Good times under the dash of the REDO  :o  Made a little progress on the wiring, only 3 more REDOs on twisted and taped connections.

There are a bunch of fiero connectors that are not connected to anything.  ::scratch   Some were constant "hot" with the key in the off position.

Some were only "hot" with the key in the on position.  Since I have no clue what the various fiero connectors are for.  I had to pull the fuses one by one until the test light went out. Marked each one.  I'll use these later in the build

I have no clue on some of the connectors.  Maybe some one here can shed some light what the heck they are for.   ::help ::toothy

Wow you have quite a project with that wiring! Looks like you have the skills fix it though.
Keep at it, you will have it sorted out eventually. ::thumbup

thanks LP670Mike!  It looks worse than it appears.. or is it .... worse than it looks?  I have some skills but being OCD seems to help  :LL:  Just keep plugging away!

Trying to get a bit completed on the wiring.

The mystery of the purple wire on the Sebring headlight switch and the spliced red wire to the Fiero has been resolved!!   This red wire spliced to the purple was the power source for the dash lights.  :LL:

Testing the sebring switch, the black wire with the white stripes is the only one that is hot when the parking lights are switched on.  That black wire was traced to a blue crimp junction which was connected to a black fiero wire that is constant hot.  But also connected to it was the wiper motor.

Looking at the Fiero fuse box there is a fused wiper circuit, I will use this fused circuit as I don't want my wipers to run without the ignition "on" or "acc" position. ::study

SM Redo:  One look at your spaghetti wiring leads me to advise you to install a "Painless Wiring" kit.  You really don't want a hidden problem to bite you later on.  I think that 76mx is an authorized seller or he can direct you on who to contact for purchasing.  Summit Racing sells them also  ::scratch ::thumbup

01

Thanks 01 for the idea,  but its the connections that need to be soldered.  If I pulled the Fiero harness and put in painless, Which would be a ton of work..... I would still have to solder all those connections in the instrument cluster. To much pain putting in the painless  :LL:

I think I have about 30-50 connections to REDO at the instrument cluster and under the steering column.
