The G28 center console is pretty chunky,  Thanks to Murci-me I was able to use the mold to make the center console piece.

So it was time to clean up the mess, after the REDO on the wiring under the dash.  While doing this one of the brake switches was loose, and actually not mounted.  The other one had a cracked plug for brake lights.

Wondered what all the connectors were for. ::study

Switch #1
Connector - with yellow & yellow and blk http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/141811.html
Connector - With purple and Pink/blk stripe - TCC

Siwtch #2
Connector - Orange, White and Lt Blue - brake lights
Connector - Blue plug - Cruise

Got the info in the wiring schematic and Pennocks.

knowing what I know, about the REDO, both Switches will be replaced ::toothy

Big shout out and thank you to Murci-Me for the molds for the center console  lid ::salute

Today I made the lid. I might be able to modify the G28 center console. Not sure if I will use that mold or not

This will be a big improvement to my interior!

The other issue, with the car on the ground is the length and weight of the front Springs.  They are currently 8 inch and 350 lb, which seems to short and to stiff, with the 1.5 inch drop spindles.  I was advised by Arruat to get that size spring.  :o

I was thinking 10 inch and 250lbs.  ::scratch

Been working on a bunch of little things to get the mechanical completed.  But alas!  foiled by Arruart .... again.  In tightening up the rear axle nuts, the car was lowered to the ground.  The car would not roll in neutral.

Long story short disassembled the rear end down to the axles and the issue is the Arruat caliper bracket pushes the hub back so it grinds against the CVC.

The Knuckle needs to be machined 85mm around and 11mm deep, which is the thickness of the caliper bracket.  Well that is what appears to need to be done ::toothy

Which Borla muffler did you get and how do you like the sound?

I believe it is the Borla S muffler, I don't like the sound,  a little loud, but will do for now.

But then again the sound might drown out any squeaks and rattles the car may have :LL:
