The OEM replica dash ends had to be cut off and a portion of the dash removed so it would fit length wise. The space and angle has to be right,  so hopefully looks like the OEM car  ::toothy

There was some empty space on the top of the dash that had to be filled in, more fiber glassing.

door cards installed and on to fitting the OEM replica dash

A Murci Me instrument pod came with the REDO

had to rework the opening to make it fit

Using a template, The dash was cut  in two places and fiber glassed back together

Then adjust the width using foam and fiber glass

Took the door apart and prepped and painted the frame.  While the paint was drying  sorted out  the Fiero power window wiring and added a couple of relays, worked out nice to be able to use the exisitng wiring  ::toothy

I have spent a lot of time on that work stool lately  ::toothy

hi mate did you print the switch covers?

Wow well done! That could help many G28 builders if you decide to make more from the molds! Door cards were never available except from Mike Chase which I’m not sure if he makes them any longer.

thank you, it was a lot of work

When I was in So. Cal in November I stopped by Michael place to look at his car.   He doenst have the molds any more.

I texted him last week and he told me he only sold 2 sets of the cards.

If I could sell at least 3-4 sets it would be worth it other wise, I will make a blow-n-go mold for the drivers side that I need to possibly REDO.

Is anyone interested in a set of the cards?  lmk

The REDO door cards   ::usa

Passenger side turn out pretty nice - learned from my mistakes on the drivers side  ::toothy

Driver side - going to have to make another mold of the main piece for the card as it is pretty chunky as it was the first one I did

The REDO is using OEM grab handles.

Made brackets and welded to the door at the OEM grab handle attachment point, with weld nuts on the back side.

Easier to attached brackets and mount door cards prior to putting outer door skin on  :o ::toothy

many adjustments to the parts pulled from the molds.  Cut and adjust, grind fiberglass repeat!! :o

lost track of how many times and what was done to make them decent.

be so much easier if G28 was the same size as OEM

Starting with foam to make a plug.

Lots of adjusting and then bondo sanding etc.

once the plugs were done made some molds
And had to sand the molds
