Hey everyone,
New to this forum but been following the kit car world for years. Yeah, I went to the Pomona AHA show...
all I can say is- it was dismal! Nothing like the shows back at Knotts, there were only a handful of cars, nothing new or exciting! Where are all the kit manufacturers??? Maybe they're all underground these days, with all the lawsuits and stuff... Only one Lambo clone was there, albeit the ultimate one- the friggin' original G-28 by the (former) owner of Triangle G himself! Nice guy, but no kits for sale, his (last, personal) two cars were not for sale, just showing them... darn! I'm always looking for a good builder, you know, one that won't talk how great they are and then disappear/make you waiting for months/years...
No disrespect for the guys that were there, there were some cool Cobras and such, one nice Diablo, a "Tushek F1" (which looked kinda like a K-1 Attack). But dude, I long for the days of the Vendetta, multiple Lambo kits, Ferrari kits... I guess those days are gone. I wanted to see anything along the lines of 458, Aventador, McClaren, etc., but no dice. Guess I'll just keep waiting and looking!
Here's some pic's for y'all, anyway
