I google " metal supplier " I found local companies who supplied it. I bought 2x3 for my sub frame. There is this place called bobco metals in Los Angeles.

Today i bought my metal to start the subframe and all the reinforcements.
I got 2x3- 1/8 thick. I will be welding it parallel to the bottom door jam.
i can weld from the top part.. but what about the bottom part.
my questions is. whats a good technic or how do u weld from bottom to up?
Verticle up mig welding is not easy, you should have many years of welding experience. Go verticle down using a circle motion, about the size of a large pea. The circle method will ensure that you have penetration on both pieces of metal your welding. I have sunday off, I'll try to make time to weld a circle verticle down weld and post it.
