I assume this is a different connector than on the coupe right?

From what I can tell.. yes this is different than a coupe.  The light bar is smaller on a roadster and I think it's a unique part number vs. the light bar on a coupe which might be a part number shared with an Audi A5 (and the connector would be also).

There are at least 3 different styles of OEM brake light bars.
