no its not a scam, it's not that it takes 3 weeks to ship he just fails to tell you that he has to make the kit prior to shipping. It takes two weeks to lay down fiberglass by hand.
This kit is made by Eddie from south Carolina, he was the one that made the Rav2 reventon kit that Jackie from kcI has purchased and made molds from. Some guys that has bought his rav2 kit weren't too happy with his dealings, kit had tons of air bubbles in the glass work and was poorly made for the amount of money they had paid for it.
If anyone is interested in purchasing that kit, I'd suggest that you go out there and see it in person before dumping 11k in to something that you might regret later on.
I'll release my aventador kit later on in a few months, I decided to build a 4'x8' large scale 3d printer and will offer abs panel parts or fiberglass parts when ready.
