Finally found some time! Looks like an engine cover.

looks great!  does the engine cover block the view out of the rear window?  I have a 3800 as well and was wondering what the clearance was with the lid and window?  Thanks!

While waiting on a few last engine parts to arrive today. I went ahead and cut apart my roof to accommodate the brake light Panel Auto made! Thanks to USMC Butler for making the mold of the lip from his car!!!  ;)

You are most welcome sir!  Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas  :santa

It's a great modification you are doing to the roof, in my opinion it just makes it look much more OEM.  So did you get your engine running?

Hopefully done fighting with this! I've had the engine torn down a handful of times now all because I forgot the oil galley plugs!  >:( Finally had it running good for a bit then realized I had blown a head gasket in the process so had to tear it apart one last time! I've been overly cautious this time to make sure everything was perfect! Absolutely embarrassing but should have it 100% running great in the morning!

Cause these come on your everyday driver type vehicles! Not many want to hear a supercharger all the way to work! I for one don't mind!  ;)

The headers look great, also love the valve covers. "supercharger silencer holes"!?!? Why would they do such a thing? :LL:

I also decided why it was apart I needed more cowbell! I mean Supercharger Whine!!!  ::bounce so I decided to block off the supercharger silencer holes! I've literally git this thing so close to running again I can taste it! I'm currently waiting on a gasket and upgraded spring to raise the oil pressure from about 55- 90 ish, then a manual prime to make sure my oil pressure is good and I'm golden!!! Getting impatient/excited!

Apparently letting it sit as long as I did was not the best of ideas! I tore down the top half and 6 of 12 lifters were a bit spongy so I took them apart and pumped them up manually! I also was more than glad I did this cause I noticed my gasket had failed and was leaking coolant back into the engine! Rumer has it it's a fairly common issue with these and a dab of JB Weld and 2 dimes is the perfect remedy!  ;)
