Relax guy, it's ok to be opiniated on a product that is FOR SALE.
He is not a hobby builder, he does it to make money.

Not knocking the build, at least it is somewhat complete, but it looks terrible. I am disappointed in the lack of craftsmanship. Compared to his others, it's the most complete.

The lenses are riveted!

The door is yet again unfinished.

And the price is way too expensive for what you get.

It's not a 640 or a 670.

Exactly what he said.
umm you were just knocking on the build ::)

but anyway, him saying it's an lp670 isn't the worst lie he's told.
He used to go on madmechanics to act as his own customers, just ask the mods. By now hopefully he's learned to do it on different IP addresses...

I dont want this thread to be knocking the build of a member (Rob is a member). This is one of his better builds that I have seen. I just want to put out the fact that this, in my opinion is a crooked tactic to try to sell a replica and it is things like this that make the whole community look bad. Things similar to this is why the OEM Lamborghini owners hate us (ok also we are copying and improving there 250,000 dollar cars also!). He could have just advertised this as modified LP Roadster with a similar LP670 front bumper and brought the same money instead of advertising it as a "Lamborghini LP670" when it is clearly NOT.

That looks like garbage.

It's disappointing to look at.

A shame.

Because you've built something better?

I said overall quality. I guess the value is by comparison to some of the really bad replicas I've seen on eBay. I noticed the lense  :P

O_o guess I'm the only one that thinks the mirrors don't look right on there at all. and why are the headlight lenses and washers all one piece and also riveted down lol

rob has always had bad business tactics, don't know why anyone supports him

"This is the only lp670 replica that has ever been sold on Ebay because I called and checked"  lol
The color is not my cup of tea, and it's no LP670, but the overall quality looks nice. I also think the mirrors are a good alternative to the oem style.

OK so I have nothing against Rob but it is stuff like this that just kills me. He has been in this business long enough he knows what a LP670 looks like.

Ill find the link soon but this is on Craigslist in Arizona...

The first thing I noticed is that the mirrors are different and honestly part of me could live with them.  I like the OEM style mirrors better but these look nice as a "customized" touch.  I agree that this isn't close enough to resembling a LP670 that I'd advertise it as such, but beauty and personal opinion are in the eye of the beholder and in this case the buyer.

I think that everyone will agree that his more recent builds have been getting better as time goes on and he's stuck it out through all the criticism and drama vs. bailing out like so many before him have done.

I didn't even know that was Rob because why does it say "lp670/640 not sure" in the title :S
Yes there are doors on there but the problem is that he can't make the door Cards fit the door. The other problem is mating the rhd console fit the lhd dash as you can see it's not finished. :D

Not trying to knock on him I'm just dying to see him finally make it work already since he claims there's no problems with it.
