I know this is an old topic but, I have read that some of the  4th gen (97-02)  camaro owners are  doing the   cts v swap and are direct bolt on with custom brake hose. I  have the  LS camaro calipers on my car, so the CTS V 4 piston calipers and  c6 z06 will bolt on but the  clearance is tight with my 13" c4hd  rotors and Ls Camaro calipers...
The brackets should be same and if I ever find a good deal on used cts v calipers and z06 rotors I might just try that swap.
The corvette c5 abutment brackets are different from the camaro so not sure the c5  adapters would work or not...
I  could have some more brackets cut if someone else wants to  try the swap
here is link with pic of the brakes

Get a hold of Eric At KitCarChassis.com his email is aechassis@hotmail.com might also be a phone number on the site. He can make the rings and adapters for the calipers. He will be the cheapest around and good quality parts. He is located in Dallas. Tell him you heard about him on this forum so maybe he will get over here!

This is awesome.

Anyone have any part # or further purchase info for big calipers and brakes? Such as center ring, etc.

I am looking to attack this prior to body attachment just because of the space available.

Thanks guys!

They come with some epoxy and you just glue them to your callipers.  You can also use some high-temp silicone.

Hey, usmc_butler,  Now get a set of the Brembo covers and it will put icing on your cake.

Jim

Agreed! How do they mount?

Hey, SchulzeA,  I like that Bible verse, it's a keeper.  Held Suspension makes a dropped spindle utilizing the front wheel drive spindle and bearing assembly.

Dodge Viper brakes seem to be the easiest. All I used was a centering ring, custom caliper mount bracket and rotor that was re drilled to the correct pattern. Fiero Calipers are a perfect fit on the rotors.

I built a pair of spindles for the fiero control arms that accept c6 bearings. I no longer need them because I'm now building a tube chassis.

You built a pair of spindles ::toothy!!! Very nice

Here is a picture of my C4 setup on my 87 Fiero chassis.  This requires a centering ring, custom caliper mount bracket, and the Fiero hub must have the rotor machined off.

Here is a Fiero with a C5 brake setup mounted.

Keep in mind that you must monitor the caliper and wheel clearance when installing larger diameter rotors and brakes.  Jim
