Hey Tex,

Fantastic job on that. I am intending to do a fix on that area as well, and you have motivated me to do it far nicer than I probably would have. The CKI kit doesn't even look close to OEM there from any pics I've seen.

Any ideas what you'll do in the sail panel/batwing area? I'm very interested to see if you have a fix in mind for that area as the quarter glass kind of tucks under the batwing by a couple inches, but the kit is just plain flat.

Thanks Lance. The sail panel/ batwing area/ humps are the next area of attention for me so I will keep you posted.

Part test fitted again. Second cost of clear resin. And that's it. I'm going to lunch. I have several pics on the rocker being attached if anyone wants to see that let me know.

Filler sanded and test fit to the car. CF being applied.

The bones of this are done. Fiberglass filler applied.

This is the inner workings of the separated vent piece. The tape is about 1/8th in thick to make room for the CF and paint that will be applied.

Inside pieces all in place. Fiberglass filler applied. Also the black stuff you see is panel bond, it really speeds this process up. This is common autobody stuff and the one I'm using sets in 1.5 min so you can move on to the next piece. It beats waiting on resin to set when you have limeted time and it's super strong. Its not a total replacement for fiberglass just a tool to speed up the building process, it is pricey though.

Moved the lower corner in and glassed it back in. Started the inside pieces.
