Tantukka,
I have hundreds of hours researching glass for my Concept Car and nothing comes remotely close to that. I am ready to order now. All of the guys wanting door glass for their Countach are right behind me. AB is in for a couple of windshields and I know others that want Diablo glass. This is a pretty big order, how do we make it happen?

why dont you machine your own molds?

Mould for custom windshields cost around 500usd.. Then deliver that to windshield manufacturer and actual windshields are around 250usd / pcs. any size.

Then I screwed up, should have asked $7,000 each, minimum of two. Just kidding, I would not do that.

More of a "blanket statement"  I know that there are a few of us with the Diablo in the garage, and there is the fear of no windshield availability

That is good to know cause OE they are 8k

AdrianBurton,
Are you asking me or Aventcar? If me, same deal for the Diablo, $3,000 each, minimum order two.

Inspire, unfortunately I will not be able to machine you a buck as the company that I wanted to subcontract that job to, the company that can do it in less than three weeks, has not responded to my pricing request. However, I have an alternate proposal. Hire me to build your buck and I will do it in-house, and I will hire you to do the same with my buck. That way we will both make more money.

Rob,
He did not tell me what model the windshield was either, and I can certainly understand why. I studied the lines of it and saw nothing at all that looked awkward or did not flow correctly. Remember, his car is not a scan or copy, it is all freehand design. Parts of it could be off by what would be considered substantial, but when you step back and look at it, it still looks correct and nice.
this is my DOT windshield with the correct specification with real Aventador ,remember 76mx  :)thath i work attached with real data and numbers in all car :body, also interiors from confide sources.

I would be interested in bidding this job but would like to subcontract the actual work to Inspire Composite. They can have it for you in less than three weeks, let me get a quote from them and then I will give you my bid. Hopefully you will be very happy with their work.
