Why was the seller a con man ? In CA there is no need for a vin plate , we can use the sb100 process to get a new title and vin for kit cars. That's what I have on mine . Completely legal.  And once you sb100 a kit car in California you can transfer the title to other states

Looking for a completed Diablo Roadster VT for sale

I recently fell in love with the Lamborghini Diablo Roadster Vt. I sold my rare 1974 Corvette Greenwood Gt to help fund the purchase. I cant seem to find anyone selling one that is decent. Does anyone know of one being sold? I found one in California. It was beautiful red and listed as  a new NRC made with new motor. He was a con man and even went to tell me to pull a vin plate off another car to get this registered. Getting frustrated. Can anyone help?
