one thing after other
a I had to extend my shifter linkage rod 2" ( that sucker is like 6' long)  . took an hour  to remove . over the axle shaft ,under the Headers, between chassis and plumbing and remove dash since the rod can be pulled only forward ) was mounted not in right place. Jim D will pop by for final tuning .

This is what I was referring to, and Disregard the push button installation, it's no longer attached to the skin as shown.

Hi eddie, no dont glass it to the skin, if they are oem, there are 2 post on the bottom with threded inserts for bolts, fabricate some L brackets with a hole drilled in and glass those to the skin when positioned the way you want it, allow glass to cure and you can bolt grab handles down.

did not do much today, but spayed black in side door shell, wire loom , and install side glass.
question how do you install the grab handle ? glass it to the skin ? that's next and if I run out of liquids maybe try to fit the mirror . then I can bond the door skin together  , so I hope by Labor weekend I'll turn the car around and work on right side.
Ill be back

YAH, I have not much of  time  or maybe I'm getting to old for that LOL, mean time  I had to re enforce my door frame today , it sway  a bit so add here and there. so that's fixed and  mount micro switch on engine lid latch handle. ah yeah mount to fit door card with handle and arm rest.
