Nothing like work to get in the way of progress on the REDO  ::)

back at it  after about 3 weeks.

Lots of fiddly issues in  mounting the the dash,  console, grab handle and the lower dash panel.  Fabricated some brackets, blah blah blah

If work doesn't get in the way, it will be on to the drivers side ::salute

I have to do the same thing to make the OE 6.0 bezel I have fit in the "OE 6.0 dash" that I have so I REALLY appreciate the detail in this one

Thanks!

Looks great dude! I'm jealous, I never had the opportunity to do these things on my Murc rep so its cool to see you doing it! Keep up the steam bud

Lol, dont be jealous, it was a total pain, but not as bad as the door cards!

Need a airbag piece for the passenger side.

Not sure if I make a mold for this after final adjustment, and possible glove box or just delete it all together  :LL:

The OEM replica dash ends had to be cut off and a portion of the dash removed so it would fit length wise. The space and angle has to be right,  so hopefully looks like the OEM car  ::toothy

There was some empty space on the top of the dash that had to be filled in, more fiber glassing.

door cards installed and on to fitting the OEM replica dash

A Murci Me instrument pod came with the REDO

had to rework the opening to make it fit

Using a template, The dash was cut  in two places and fiber glassed back together

Then adjust the width using foam and fiber glass

Took the door apart and prepped and painted the frame.  While the paint was drying  sorted out  the Fiero power window wiring and added a couple of relays, worked out nice to be able to use the exisitng wiring  ::toothy

I have spent a lot of time on that work stool lately  ::toothy

hi mate did you print the switch covers?
thanks Baggio
