Boy I love those wheels, I wish I would have bought one of those sets when they were available.

It's great when you get parts in, it means you can get stuff done.

Got the 3800 swap brackets for the trans and engine in the mail today from FeiroRog over at Pennocks.  Also bought the brackets to relocate the alternator to the power steering pump location from him as well.

I can see you are already making it much better,  what a difference a little paint does.  What are your plans for body color and wheels?

Thanks Pedro, here is a picture of the wheels on the car. I will be upgrading to 13" rotors and wide track all the way around.   I have a few colors in mind but will figure that out later...much later :)

While you're under there I  would get rid of that compression fitting on the brake line.

Thanks, Brakes will be completely redone.... yes a REDO!

The 87 cradle in the car is pretty trashed.  So an 88 cradle will be stretched and installed. The engine, which is leaking badly from the crank area, will we resealed.

That's why they call it the 3% Club.  That's the percentage that finishes their replicas.  It's a HUGE & OVERWHELMING challenge.  Tighten your belt and stick it out and the rewards will be yours.  Keep your family first and pace yourself. ::thumbup ::thumbup ::thumbup

Over the years I have been reading and lurking here, and on other forums. Learned a lot form other members who have failed and some that have succeeded.

Having traveled to look a number of unfinished cars across the country, visted Mike Vetter and Michael Chase, I finally purchased a G28.

This car is based on an 87 Fiero and has a 3800 Series II SC for a power plant.

So many thing to REDO on this car that it can make your head spin around. It will not be a "Simple" project but we will plug away on it.

I will try to post my progress and appreciate any help from others who have gone before!

Thanks
Simple Man
