If you read any of the states requirements, you will quickly realize that your state has made it VERY difficult for you to license and title a replica.  My state (Michigan) requires a bill of purchase for the original car, body, the engine, and the transmission with the serial numbers on the original bill of sale.  Try to get that proof from purchases made on Ebay 6 years ago.  I am still trying to get help from the DOT on that problem.  They really don't care about the serial numbers at all.  It's ALL ABOUT THE TAXES on items purchased out of state.   $$$$$$$$.
