From what I gather Jayso is planning on buying watson's personal moulds but not until someone buys a kit from him
but John will do what he wants with the moulds at what ever time that may be so he could end up keeping them

RTR doesn't even show builds just oem cars, and usually companies that list many different cars like that, which don't even exist as kits, then they are fake. Like Super Replicas.

Am33r you just bought from Rob, isn't he in jail and doesn't he owe other people money/parts?
You are saying you received a kit you bought 9 days ago? Just curious I didn't think you could get anything off of him currently, especially that quick. I'd be careful with Rob.

ikr is showing a g28 on that page
and rtr looks like a scam to me

watson and extreme-sportscars.com are the only oem spec and extreme is in UK and not lp640 model
pretty sure cliff sells copies of watson too but haven't heard from him in a good while

then there is beyondcustom.com.au I think they build turnkeys but they are the best I've seen
Thank you all for your knowledge and help!

I would like to add that on April 10th, 2013 I bought mine from www.RobsLP640.com It was an exterior kit for $4K. I paid another $1K to have it lightly sanded. I also bought from them an Essential Metal Package which includes the (Side Impact Protection Door Frames, Curved Windshield A-Pillar Frame, Door Hinges, Door Latch Setup) all for $1K. To me, those two packages I bought should make my build so much easier.

I think LamboJayso may sell an OEM body as well. I know he has a ton of OEM spec parts.

This list should probably be sticky somewhere so we can keep it updated. So far we have:

Air Dynamics [John Watson] (OEM spec): http://www.air-dynamics.ws/ Currently not shipping.
Bartman (OEM spec - Watson copy): http://lamboclone.com/index.php?action=profile;u=29 Does he sell these?
Car Kit Inc (G28 - Not OEM spec): http://carkitinc.com/carkit2.php?id=7
ItalianKnightRider (G28 - Not OEM spec): http://lamboclone.com/index.php?topic=86.msg612#msg612 Still selling these?
LamboJayso (OEM spec): http://lamboclone.com/index.php?action=profile;u=45 Watson copy? Does he sell these?
RTR Exotics: http://www.rtrexotics.net/Murcielago-LP640.html OEM spec? Scam?
If I don't have time to do it right, when will I have time to do it over?

I know of the following retailers (not necessarily manufacturers):

Air Dynamics [John Watson] (OEM spec): http://www.air-dynamics.ws/
Car Kit Inc (G28 - Not OEM spec): http://carkitinc.com/carkit2.php?id=7
RTR Exotics (I believe OEM spec): http://www.rtrexotics.net/Murcielago-LP640.html Scam?
ItalianKnightRider (G28 - Not OEM spec): http://lamboclone.com/index.php?topic=86.msg612#msg612 Not sure if he is still selling these?

I would like to know of any others selling kits in the US.
Thank you VERY MUCH!

Tallon, I have updated IKR to reflect the info you provided.

Really? RTR looks like a scam? That is too bad. Is that the consensus around here?

I never noticed that the extreme-sportscars.com was not an LP460 but you are correct! Bummer. So that means, there is only one option for OEM spec LP640 kits and that is Watson who is currently not shipping kits. Looks like I have no choice but to go with CKI. Hopefully that will change by the time I am ready to build. Either that, or someone else will sell their Watson kit when they decide not to complete it.

As for the MR2, if it takes that much to get over 200 HP out of it, I am not interested. I will either use it stock or go with a different drive train. Again, I am in CA and I have to worry about our emissions. I would rather just use a more powerful engine than mess with one that much.
If I don't have time to do it right, when will I have time to do it over?

Is there such a thing as a '93 300 HP MR2? If there was, I'd be tempted! Didn't the turbo cap out around 200 HP?

All you really need is a boost controller to take it to 300hp.

It takes a little bit more then that. Fuel needs to be added when you add more positive manifold pressure. Dont forget about changing the timing  also. The turbo is also not able to move enough air at a certain point also. Do homework before you start to try to modify.

Does anyone have a list of lp640 body kit manufacturers here in the United States?

@ BigPines. Last year I owned an MR2 that was Baige Interior and Turbo 275 hp with all street legal additions http://www.madmechanics.com/forum/consumer-opinions/15662-lamborghini-aventador.html I am on the MR2 forum and there are 450 hp ones.

@ noynlic  ::huh Just because Jaki calls it a murcy 2 it doesn't make it "The Second Murcielago" or "Murcielago Two." And I have seen it on eBay under other names from a maker in Michigan and another in Oregon.

Isn't G28 a Classification rather than a name? I am not even building a Murcielago Replica so I doubt I should call this kit a Murcy 2  ::counfused
It's whatever you want it to be as long as WE GET THESE darn BUILDS ON THE ROADS

Mine is G28 because just like mike's and chris's and the kits of a few more guys here I bought it from Rob. Just bought mine last week.

Just curiuos and seriously not trying to be smart, but why does everyone still refer to it as a "G28" when it's now sold as a Mercy2 for a while now?  Does that Rob character still sell it as a G28?  Is it because G28 sounds cooler than Mercy2?   ::wave  really just wondering.
