If I don't have time to do it right, when will I have time to do it over?

This connector housing is identical looking to my loom housing and the connectors are the right size.

I'm using OEM for my roadster so it fits perfectly inside the engine cover grille.  My problem has been finding a part number for the electrical connector that plugs into the OEM light bar.  Soldering a couple wires to the leads would be easy but I really want mine to plug in so it can be replaced in the future without all the hassle of re-soldering wires.  Removal of the engine cover and components would also be much easier if everything came apart like original.

Anyone have this part number for the electrical plug that is part of the harness?

Chris

Are we talking about the plug connector 867 906 231 ? , which cross refs to 191 906 231A ,if so I will check tomorrow , I'm sure I've got one on my loom to check.

I'm looking around for one of those connectors that you listed and I'm willing to gamble the $10 and see if we have a match.  I think I found one in the UK and it's from a 1988 VW Golf MK2 GTI 8V (possible 3rd brake light or windshield wiper motor connector).

Thanks String.. you are the master at figuring out the OEM electrical connectors!   ::beers

I'm assuming there is some VW or Audi part out there that was used as with most of all the rest of the new Lamborghini electrical components and I've yet to find the part number of cross reference.  I went as far as looking up the Lambo part number in the VW / Audi catalog and it gave me a light bar cross reference to a Audi A6.  I found someone on EBay that was parting out an A6 and bought the light bar with the connector (just wanting the connector) and what I got back was the same part number but completely wrong for a roadster.  I'm guessing that the cross reference was for a coupe and not a roadster and the connector / light bar is completely different.
