Might forget about the other measurements, John Watson posted this of his REAL handle.
In other words, Murcie-me's are wrong

Mine are "wrong" because they are made to fit the G-28 (same as yours). Good luck fitting an OEM shape and size handle on a G-28 door :) (dont you think there was a reason I made my own instead of using an OEM handle, whether original or replica?)

Good to know if the endmill doesn't work. It's not carbide or anything special so it might not

You don't need carbide to cut steel... Most drill bits are made of the same high speed steel as your endmill is made of.

Murci-Me, I like the marble idea but I have an end mill.  Tallon, take your end mill bit and barter it at a machine shop.  I'm sure that they will swap the machine work for your end mill bit.  (I would)  Jim

I didnt use an endmill. I just drilled a hole in the surface (not all the way through) larger than what I wanted the dimple size to be. I filled the hole woth bondo, and before it cured i pushed a large glass marble into the bondo. When it cured, I removed the marble and was left with a perfect smooth dimple. I then block sanded the surface of the handle to remove the extra bondo that pushed out around the marble and was done.

It makes nice concave chamfers on drilled holes. Or buy a mill to use your new tooling :) Your already in $33, what's another $6k?

Ah sob! You don't waste any time! Maybe you can cancel the order...? Or change it to 5/8"?

I programmed the handle real quick last night. You actually need a 5/8" endmill. A 1/2" endmill will cut all the way through the 3/16" plate to reach a 1/2" wide dimple. I will post a side view comparison pic just in case there's any confusion.

I see several ways to make this design better  but over all very functional,
